I am a PhD student at Penn, advised by Prof. Antonio Loquercio and Prof. Rahul Mangharam. I also work closely with Prof. Haimin Hu.
My research focuses on robot learning and human–robot interaction (HRI). My work includes scalable learning for robotic manipulation and AI coaching through reinforcement learning and game theory. I am also exploring multi-agent systems, vision-language-action models, and safe control, drawing on information theory, Bayesian inference, and probabilistic learning.
Our paper AI Coaching has been accepted to CoRL 2026! We study how AI can accelerate human skill development.
I’ll be at IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh, presenting AI Coaching at the NoC (oral and poster) and BLPC (poster) workshops.
Attended L4DC 2026 in Los Angeles.

Traveled through Europe, visiting Venice, Florence, Elba Island, Rome, and Vatican City.

Studied learning in dynamic environments with domain shifts and signal delays, and open-ended task solving with diffusion, vision-language, and large language models. Mentored by Dr. Dongqi Han and Dr. Xufang Luo, with leadership from Dr. Dongsheng Li and Prof. Lili Qiu. Received the Stars of Tomorrow (Excellent Intern) award and met many close friends.

Applied AI to online multiplayer MOBA games, supervised by Shihong Deng, with guidance from Flood Sung and group leader Xianghao Guo. I also value the support and friendships of fellow interns bzb, m++, Haosen Shi, and Yicheng Lu.

Developed a deep learning system for motion recognition and fall detection in videos, with guidance from Ruishan Liu and Min Du, and help from Jiagang Zhu.
